Changing lives, saving lives, reaching out to everyone – poorest and remotest
Africa is a rich continent with all the needed resources for the survival of humankind, but the methodologies and approaches that have been used to develop the continent do not seem to be responsive to the human needs of the continent; there seems an urgent need to redefine Africa’s development agenda.
Zambia is a land of plenty with excellent natural resources, human capital, and the best conditions to meet the human needs of our country. Sadly, most citizens of Zambia are still in abject poverty, living below the required standard of living.
It is therefore important to come up with initiatives such as those defined by the Muvombo Development Initiative, a registered non-profit/non-governmental organization that focuses on individual participation, inclusive development, and a need-driven and holistic approach that meets the current generation’s needs and those of future generations responsibly and sustainably.

Our role is to complement and supplement the excellent works of the New Dawn government of growing the economy and creating Jobs and Business opportunities for all Zambians including the most remote areas of the country, where most people are still behind in terms of development
Therefore, the Muvombo Development Initiative will operate in such a manner as to bring about mutual relations and development between the government functionalism as well as the people in order to reach out to every citizen of Zambia. As it is clearly in our mandate that we have to create the very conducive environment for every Zambian to excel in every endeavor, be it business or job and career development. Ours clearly defines our activities, focusing on the grassroots in a more practical and attainable way.
This is in fact in line with the new Dawn Government of the Republic of Zambia

- To develop Sustainable and participatory household development initiatives

- To promote Media, Music and Art Participation and positive development
- To advocate for Radical methods and approaches to development
KEY DELIVERABLE AND ACTIVITIES
- To promote Most Remote and Rural population inclusive Development
- Donation of food stuffs in remote areas of all ten provinces
- Donation of clothes in remote areas of all ten provinces
- Donation of shoes in remote areas of all ten provinces
- Donation of sportswear, shoes and balls
- Donations of medicines and medical supplies to need clinics in remote areas of all ten provinces
- Conduct participatory Research and Development and responses
To Develop Sustainable and Participatory Household Development
- Donation of empowerment kits at households in remote areas of all ten provinces
- Community Promotion and sensitization of HIV/AIDS and other diseases of all ten provinces
- Community practical development awareness information dissemination to all the ten provinces
- Support to entertainment, music, sports and Arts activities across Zambia at grassroots level.
- Support to youth development initiatives and innovations, research and development
To Develop Community owned Development, Climate smart and Resilience Development
- Development of 10 community goat multiplication centres with pass on scheme in all the ten provinces of Zambia
- Development of 10 community cattle multiplication centres with pass on scheme in all the ten provinces of Zambia
- Promotion of the use of renewable cooking methods ( gas cooking stokes, solar solutions etc.) among all Zambians
- Development of 10 Climate Smart Muvombo Centers of Excellence with out-growers schemes ( the centers will have modern solar water systems, goats, cattle, irrigation, plantation, Aqua culture, aqua, apiculture, storage facilities, sports and Arts facilities, shallets, restaurant, market connectivity, research and development)

Conclusions
Ours is to complement and support the efforts of the New Dawn government in making Zambia a better and more developed country.
Partners in this important course will be part of us, and we shall grow together in making every Zambian have access to basic needs and promotion of industrialization, technology development, and climate-resilient solutions.
